My background, responsibilities, and the roles I’m looking for.

Tell me about yourself.: I’m Akhil Ram, a Lead Product Designer at IKS Health. I started in visual design and motion, then worked in web design, research, product management, and consulting. I also design and build my own products.
Why call yourself a generalist?: I’ve worked in design, product management, and business operations. I use that experience when discussing requirements and trade-offs with a team. I bring in specialists for work that needs their expertise.
What kind of problems do you do best with?: I work on products whose teams need to define requirements, organise workflows, or establish a design system. My projects include healthcare, enterprise SaaS, and fintech.
How do you work with founders and engineers?: I discuss requirements and technical constraints with the team. I prototype the parts we need to test and document decisions before implementation.
What are you looking for now?: I’m open to product design and product management roles, consulting, and collaborations. I can work in Bengaluru or remote.
